(By Anthony Miller – Friday 16th October 2009 7:45am). There must be a halo-like glow emanating around Atos UK CEO Keith Wilman today. His business reported Q3 revenues 12.3% higher yoy (€234m) like-for-like (lfl), the only one of Atos' geographic units in positive territory. Indeed, across the group, Atos’ revenues fell 5.6% lfl to €1.23b, with Benelux hardest hit, down almost 18% (€231m). Revenues in home base France fell 6.3% to €258m.
The key, as ever with Atos, is its Managed Services (i.e. outsourcing) activities, particularly for the UK. Overall, MS revenues grew 4.5% to €484m, the biggest service line at 39% of group revenues. In stark contrast, SI revenues fell 13.8% to €435m, and Consulting – well, what can you say - down 34% to €54m.
I’ll be speaking to Keith Wilman on Monday morning from his office in seventh heaven.
