Netcall buys Q-Max
(By Anthony Miller – Thursday 1st October 2009 9:15am). Much as we mooted last month (see Netcall benefits from increased use of online channels), call centre software provider Netcall is on the acquisition trail, buying UK-based, privately held Q-Max Systems for £2.5m (mostly cash). Q-Max supplies workforce management software to contact centres. While it sounds like a reasonable fit, Netcall has a little bit of work to do to turn around Q-Max’s £80k pre-tax loss last year. Its current revenue run rate is £1.3m, so adds about a third to that of Netcall plus another 100 new customers so they should be able to make this work.
