Microgen counts chickens to raise egg target

Not wishing to jinx Microgen’s increasingly upbeat run of trading statements (see Microgen “cautiously positive”), but it does rather tempt fate to forecast beating year-end market estimates “subject to contracts being finalised”, especially in current market conditions (see here). Nonetheless, Microgen’s business process management division (Aptitude) seems to be going great guns, with other divisions “in line” and profitable. Surely Microgen chairman Martyn Ratcliffe is keeping his fingers crossed that these new ‘chickens’ really do come home to roost!
