SAP SaaS – correction

Oh dear! Some unfortunate editing on our part of Philip Carnelley’s posting last Wednesday ended up confusing rather than enlightening. We added a comment about SAP’s mid-market SaaS offering, Business ByDesign, to the original article which we should have noticed could be read to imply SAP’s new SaaS initiative was related to BBD. Well, it isn’t, and our apologies to you (and to Phil!) for the confusion. We have updated the original article (see SAP to try again with SaaS) and will publish a fuller analysis of SAP’s SaaS initiatives in a future AnalystViews report.
