Ex-Gartner SVP to head up SAP UK

(By Richard Holway 10.00am 17th June 09) Interested to hear that Tim Noble has been appointed UK MD of SAP - taking over from Steve Rogers who has been promoted to head of business user and solution sales for SAP EMEA.

I was particularly interested in this appointment because Noble was Senior VP at Gartner responsible for global sales. It is not that common for executives from a researcher to join a vendor in this kind of top executive position. Which is a bit strange given the experience and network that such people could bring. My friend, Adam Hale, at Russell Reynolds handled the recruitment.

In a separate move Frederic Arrouays takes the position of CFO of SAP UK.
