Allocate Software seems to be delivering on its promise

(By Philip Carnelley 8.00am 9th June 09) Back in December we said that Manpower Software, the ‘workforce optimisation’ software company (revenues around £13m) could be one to watch (Manpower secures hold on NHS temps with Baum Hart). We said that its focus on the Defence, Maritime and Healthcare sectors, both at home and abroad were good places to be.

Well, watching Manpower Software became a bit out of date when they changed their name to Allocate Software last week!

Since then, it’s had a busy time, acquiring another small company, Key Information Technology Systems, in April 2008, the business and assets of Baum Hart & Partners in December and continuing its push overseas (into the US and Malaysia).

The full year results aren’t yet out, but today Allocate announced a whole raft of contract wins for its fourth quarter, ended May 31, across all of its sectors: 8 contracts with different NHS Trusts, plus one to Malaysia; 2 sales of its maritime staffing solution and one in defence, with NATO. Bodes well.
